Dickinson Police Department
News Release
Tuesday, August 29, 2017

Dickinson is still under Mandatory Evacuation. Rescue operations are still active. If anyone has the ability to evacuate, they are asked to do so. Those who need to evacuate, but do not have the ability, are asked to call the Dickinson Emergency Operations Center at 281-337-4700 ext. 311.

For shelter locations, go to redcross.org.

Rains from overnight have cause waters to rise again. Travel routes into and around Dickinson are limited at this time.

We are in need of non-perishable food, bottled water, other drinks, hygiene supplies, cleaning supplies, new bed sheets, blankets, baby and children supplies. The City of Dickinson has coordinated a donations drop-off location at Dickinson High School. Drop-off location opened at 8:00 a.m. this morning.
