Marines land in Friendswood

The Marines landed in Friendswood at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2017.

They assisted emergency personnel in clearing subdivisions, and effecting medivacs for life-saving treatment. The Marines are expected to be in Friendswood through 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2017.

Their next task is to head north when they leave Friendswood to assist other jurisdictions.
