GALVESTON COLLEGE OPENS TUESDAY, REGISTRATION CONTINUES

Galveston College will open Tuesday September 5 for the first day of classes for the 2017 Fall Semester. Late registration will continue Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Galveston College closed on Thursday August 24 before the landfall expected from Hurricane Harvey. The College sustained limited damage and maintained a closure status for the safety of their students, faculty, staff, and their families.

Students needing assistance in registration should visit the Counseling Center or call 409-944-1220.

Galveston College is the 50 year old community college serving Galveston Island, Port Bolivar and Crystal Beach as well as the surrounding region with academic, workforce training, professional development, and continuing education. Galveston College has approximately 2,200 credit students per semester and over 3,000 non-credit students annually.
