LEAGUE CITY, Texas – The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) agents will be available to answer residents questions about the various programs FEMA offers and how to get help registering for assistance.

Representatives will be set up at the League City Kroger Distribution Center, 176 Gulf Freeway South in League City.

FEMA personnel are scheduled to be at the distribution center starting Monday (Sept. 4) from 11 a.m. until the distribution center closes at 7 p.m.

Registering with FEMA is required for federal aid, even if you registered with another disaster-relief organization or a community or church organization. You must use the name that appears on your Social Security card. You will be asked to provide:

• Social Security number
• Address of the damaged home or apartment
• Description of the damage
• Information about insurance coverage
• A current contact telephone number
• An address where you can get mail
• Bank account and routing numbers if you want direct deposit of any financial assistance.

You do not have to visit the intake center to register, and residents may also apply at www.DisasterAssistance.gov or by calling 800-621-FEMA(3362).
