Disaster assistance available for League City and surrounding communities

The League City church of Christ on Main Street in League City is open and providing recovery assistance to families affected by Harvey. The church has been receiving shipments from Disaster Assistance CoC for the past several days with more shipments coming. We are currently providing meals and cleaning supplies.

Monday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

To help serve the community we are still in need of the following:

  • Prayer
  • Volunteers
  • Monetary Donations
  • Items for meal prep: trail mix, honey buns, protein/energy bars, breakfast bars, peanut butter crackers, muffins, pop tarts, fruit cups, Chef Boyardee microwave cups, small bottles of Gatorade.

If you are interested in volunteering please call our office at (281) 332-1051. Funds can be dropped off at the office or mailed to 1801 E. Main Street, League City, TX 77573. Please note in the memo of your check “Disaster Assistance/Relief”

These assistance efforts are being organized and managed by Mike Baumgartner and the elders of the Lake Jackson church of Christ.
Disaster Assistance CoC provides recovery assistance to churches of Christ across the United States. In addition to League City, Harvey recovery assistance is also being provided to the Pearland church of Christ and Lake Jackson church of Christ.
