News Release
Tuesday, September 05, 2017

Debris contractors are on the ground in the city and working in the City of Dickinson.   To facilitate and expedite the process, the debris dump site located at the old Sussan’s, 3820 Gulf Freeways, will close to the public on Wednesday, September 6, at 4:00 pm.  The debris collection site will become contractor use only at that time.  Any residents wishing to drop off their own personal debris is advised to complete this process before Wednesday at 4:00 pm.

All vehicles must be removed from in front of debris piles that have been placed at the curb.  Debris collection trucks WILL NOT be able to remove debris that is blocked by vehicles parked in the roadway.   Residents in neighborhoods are also asked to make sure the roads and streets are clear so the large debris collection trucks can safely and effectively maneuver.

Any Dickinson residents interested in being employed as a debris monitor at the debris collection site can call 866-960-2325.  Please be sure to identify yourself as resident of DICKINSON.

Crowder Gulf Disaster Recovery & Debris Management is also looking to add collection trucks to the program working in Dickinson.   Qualified contractor must possess a grapple truck with minimum of 60 yard capacity.   Interested persons should contact Nick Pratt with Crowder Gulf at 251-402-5566 or
