Harvey Debris Removal Assistance
Saturday, September 9, 2017

Harvey Debris Removal Assistance will begin on Saturday, September 9, 2017, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Please have all of your storm debris curbside by 7:00 a.m. on Saturday. Any debris not curbside by this time, may not be removed.

Please remember:

  • DO NOT PARK STREET SIDE ON SATURDAY
If your curbside debris is blocked by parked vehicles it will not be removed. We highly advise no curbside/street parking between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 9.

  • DO NOT BAG DEBRIS
Any debris that is bagged (no matter the color of the bag) will not be picked up. This includes any bagged vegetation.

  • Separate storm debris from household garbage
Demolition and construction debris, electronics, appliances, vegetation and hazardous household waste should be clearly separated from your Waste Management trash bins. It is not necessary to break-down demolition/construction debris, you may leave it in large pieces.

  • Keep roadways and sidewalks as clear as possible
Items should be placed between the sidewalk and curb. Do not place debris below the curb or in the street. Do not place debris near trees, poles or other structures; this includes fire hydrants and meters. If you do not have a sidewalk, place debris at the end of your property line and the curb.

  • Keep children and pets away from debris piles

  • Please drive carefully when behind debris-loaded trucks

  • DO NOT BURN DEBRIS OR RUBISH
It is against city ordinance to burn rubbish, debris or trash of any kind, including leaves, brush, trees or parts of trees.

Waste Management will not be collecting storm debris. The City of Seabrook’s storm debris provider is CrowderGulf Disaster Recovery and Debris Management. Please remember this program is for storm debris removal only. Waste Management's recycling service remains suspended until further notice.
