Nassau Bay City Council on Monday voted 5-1, with Bob Warters opposed, to adopt a resolution to authorize temporary containers to remain on private property for more than 28 days, and allowing residents to live in recreational vehicles parked on private property due to the impact of Hurricane Harvey.

The city council voted unanimously to reappoint Gayle Nelson, Roscoe Lee, Sven Schultz, Gail Newberry, Amanda Ross and Nancee Lynn to the Parks Committee.

The city council voted unanimously to receive the the effective and rollback tax rate calculations for the 2017 Tax Year.

The city council voted unanimously to approve a motion regarding personnel issues concerning the city manager, as discussed in executive session.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. Council Member John Mahon was absent. Agenda
