Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 2800 Stallings

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman found at 2800 Stallings about 11:35 p.m. on Tuesday (September 19). 

The identity of the victim, 38, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. 

HPD Homicide Division Lieutenant W. Meeler and Sergeant K. Meek reported: 

According to witnesses, the victim got into a disturbance with a male suspect in the street at the above address.  At some point, she was fatally shot.  The suspect is believed to have fled the scene of foot.   

The suspect is described only as a black male wearing a black hoodie.
