Houston police are investigating several incidents that occurred during the weekend, including Sunday's fatal shooting of a man at 9275 Richmond.

Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 9275 Richmond Avenue

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9275 Richmond Avenue about 5 a. m. on Sunday (September 24).  

The victim, Alberth Sinisterr-Villegas, 26, of Houston, was transported to West Houston Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.  

HPD Homicide Division Officers C. Hogue and T. Miller reported:  

Mr. Sinisterr-Villegas was inside an after-hours night club at the above address when he was shot.  He was then transported by an unknown person to the hospital.  

At this time, there is no known motive nor suspect(s).

Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 9437 Merle Street

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9437 Merle Street about 10:30 p.m. last Friday (September 22).

The victim, 30, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Dominguez and Officer B. Roberts reported:

The victim was involved in an altercation with his neighbor over a vehicle parked in the street.  A short time after the altercation, the victim was shot by an unknown black male who fled the scene in a grey four-door sedan.

Investigation into Shooting at 11700 Alief Clodine

Houston police are investigating the shooting of man and a woman at 11700 Alief Clodine about 6:45 p.m. on Sunday (September 24) .  

The victims, Steve Polito, 24, and Linda Madrigal, 20, both of Houston, were transported to an area hospital in stable condition.  

HPD Major Assault Unit Officers D. Williamson and D. Nabors reported:  

Mr. Polito and Ms. Madrigal were in their vehicle near the above address when two unknown male suspects approached the passenger side.  Both suspects fired multiple shots, striking both victims.  Polito and Madrigal fled the scene in their vehicle and were later transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to the hospital.

Investigation into Shooting at 2111 Fannin Street

Houston police are investigating the shooting of a male at 2111 Fannin Street about 10:20 p.m. last Friday (September 22).

The victim, Levi Davis, was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.

HPD Major Assaults Unit Officers M. Barrow and R. Montalvo reported:

Mr. Davis and two other unknown males were standing on the sidewalk near the parking lot of a gas station when he was shot multiple times by an unknown suspect from inside a passing vehicle.  .  

Witnesses described the suspect vehicle s either a silver Mercury sedan or a black Nissan sedan.

Investigation into Fatal Crash at 8400 Camay

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 8400 Camay about 6:20 p.m. on Saturday (Sept. 23).

The male victim, 55, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant T. Tran and Officer L. Tram reported:

The victim was operating a gray Honda motorcycle northwest in the 8600 block of Camay when he failed to control his speed, left the roadway, and struck a ditch.  He was then transported to the hospital.

No other vehicles or motorists were involved in this incident.

Investigation into Fatal Crash at 5034 South Acres

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 5034 South Acres about 2:20 p.m. on Saturday (Sept. 23).

The male victim, 34, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant T. Tran and Officer O. Sulaiman reported:

The victim was driving a black Jeep Commander westbound at the above address when he left the roadway and entered a ditch.  The Jeep went airborne, flipped over, and struck a wooden fence before landing on its roof. 

No other motorists were involved in this incident.
