Mayor Turner Announces City Digital Design Challenge

Houston, TX— Mayor Sylvester Turner announces that the City of Houston is launching the first-ever Digital Design Challenge. The City is calling on innovative Houstonians to create a logo and style guide that defines the City of Houston. The challenge is part of a larger website redesign that the City is undertaking. A panel of judges will select three finalists to receive an award of $1,000 each.

“Houston is full of talented artists, designers, and technologists, and we want to engage them as we work to modernize our online image,” said Mayor Turner. “I am very excited to pilot this challenge and to see what the community comes up with that reflects the diversity and uniqueness of our great city.”
