Wednesday, October 04, 2017

Seabrook City Council on Tuesday voted unanimously to approve a $284,660 contract with Cobb Fendley for engineering services associated with the relocation of water, sanitary sewer gravity, and sanitary sewer force mains within the State Highway 146 corridor as a result of the Texas Department of Transportation's 146 Highway Expansion Project.

The city council voted unanimously to amend the Commons Planned Unit Development to create reserves “A” and “B”.

The development is located at 3300 Bayport Boulevard.

The city council voted 3-4, with only Robert Llorente, Gary Johnson and Joe Machol voting in favor of approval, to deny modification of the Commons PUD to modify permitted land uses to allow fuel and convenience stores as an additional permitted use.

The city council voted unanimously to adopt the city's Volunteer Policy.

The policy includes requiring a background check for volunteers, especially those working with children.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present. Agenda
