Update: Coast Guard port condition update for Alabama, Mississippi, Florida 

NEW ORLEANS – The Coast Guard has updated port conditions along the Gulf Coast after Hurricane Nate, Monday.

The captain of the port has returned the Port of Mobile, Alabama, to port condition normal with restrictions. The port is open to vessel traffic at a depth of 32 feet and daylight transit only.

The ports and waterways that have been opened are:

·         Gulf Intracoastal Waterway east of mile marker 207

·         Port of Panama City, Florida

The ports and waterways that remain closed are:

·         Gulf Intracoastal Waterway west of mile marker 207

·         Port of Pensacola, Florida

·         Port of Pascagoula, Mississippi

·         Port of Gulfport, Mississippi
