Dickinson City Council on Tuesday voted unanimously to designate Council Member William H. King, III as representative and Council Member Wally Deats as alternate to the Houston-Galveston Area Council General Assembly.

King and Deats currently serve as the city's representatives, and will continue for another year.

The city council voted unanimously to establish a Hurricane Harvey Repair Grant Award Program.

The program is to be funded through donations to the city.

The city council voted unanimously to ratify the award of a contract with Republic Services to provide debris removal services for the city.

Costs associated with the contract will be paid through the disaster recovery fund and sent to the Federal Emergency Management Agency for reimbursement.

The city council voted unanimously to ratify a contract with Nicholson Management Services, LLC for disaster recovery and consulting services associated with Hurricane Harvey.

The city council took no action resulting from executive session discussions regarding consultation with the city's attorney concerning pending or contemplated litigation and personnel matters regarding the city administrator position.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. Council Member Bruce Henderson was absent. Agenda
