Clear Creek ISD Board of Trustees

The Clear Creek Independent School District Board of Trustees on Monday voted unanimously to award a $3,347,000 contract to Bass Construction for the Armand Bayou Elementary School Project.

The project includes renovations and additions to the school and will be funded through bond proceeds. Construction will begin on November 1 and be completed in August, 2018.

The board voted to award a $1,795,010 contract to Generocity Services for renovations of the Old Clear Path Campus for use as the temporary League City Elementary School.

The school is to be rebuilt under the district's bond program. The old Clear Path building will be renovated to include a kitchen and cafeteria, connect portable classroom buildings, driveways, sidewalks and canopies, fensing and minor renovations to classroom spaces.

The board voted to award a $453,000 contract to Bauer Sport Floors, Inc. for repair of gym floors damaged during Hurricane Harvey.

Gym floors at Clear Lake, League City, Space Center and Westbrook intermediate schools were damaged due to flooding.

Work will be covered by insurance proceeds.

The board voted to authorize applying for class size waivers for Goforth Elementary for Third and Fourth Grades and Stewart Elementary for Kindergarten and First Grade.

The board voted to approve the Superintendent's targets for the 2017-2018 school year.
