METRO Service Changes During World Series Games at Minute Maid Park

METRO Street Teams will be on hand beginning Friday, Oct. 27 through Sunday, Oct. 29 helping customers navigate service changes downtown due to detours and street closures when the World Series arrives in Houston.

As fans prepare to cheer on the Astros at Minute Maid Park, they should be aware of closures along Congress and Texas Avenues, as well as La Branch, Preston, Jackson, Crawford and Hamilton Streets. METRO will not be servicing five bus stops in those areas.  More than two dozen routes, including Park & Ride and local bus, will be impacted.  Customers will be redirected to a nearby stop.

TAKE THE TRAIN TO THE GAME!

World Series ticket holders can take the train to the game for free. METRO is making service adjustments to accommodate more passengers on the Red, Green and Purple Lines.   The Greenlink Orange Route will also be operating on a modified route all weekend until midnight. Riders can sign up for text alerts, follow METRO on social media or contact our customer care line at 713-635-4000.
