Galveston County Commissioners Court Special Meeting

Galveston County Commissioners Court, in a special meeting held Friday, voted unanimously to cancel a Request for Qualifications related to Disaster Recovery and Other Professional Services.

A large amount of inquiries received and corrective actions needed prompted the cancellation. Item Summary

The commissioners court voted unanimously to authorize a request for qualifications for engineering and/or architectural services to perform post-storm damage assessments of public infrastructure in the county related to Hurricane Harvey.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve an amendment to the Interfaith Ministries of Greater Houston agreement. The agreement is for home-delivered meals provided by Interfaith Ministries. The current year of services is budgeted at $204,381.

All other agenda items were approved unanimously with Darrell Apffel and Stephen D. Holmes absent. Special Meeting Agenda
