Jefferson County Commissioners Court today voted unanimously to approve a recommendation by the Jefferson County Tourism Committee to allocate $92,933 in hotel occupancy tax funds in support of marketing efforts at the Ford Park Entertainment Complex.
The allocation had been postponed at the commissioners courts October 30 meeting. The original request had been for $130,000.
The commissioners court voted unanimously to authorize the county purchasing agent to enter into negotiations for emergency debris removal services in response to Hurricane Harvey.
The commissioners court voted 4-0-1, with Everette “Bo” Alfred abstaining, to receive and file an executed commercial lease with the Beaumont Dream Center and Harbor House Foundation.
