The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County today voted unanimously to authorize President and CEO Tom Lambert to negotiate and execute a 3-year contract with South Coast Film and Video for video and audio production services, in the amount of $300,000.

The board voted to modify a contract with Hagerty Consulting for pre and post disaster professional administrative and management services.

The board voted to authorize the president and CEO to negotiate a 5-year contract with Canon Solutions America for the purchase and maintenance of digital copiers.

All action items were approved by unanimous vote. Board members Carrin Patman and Troi Taylor were absent. Board Member Jim Robinson presided over the meeting. Agenda

During the meeting, the board heard a presentation from Executive Vice President of Operations, Public Safety and Customer Service Tim Kelly regarding METRO's record-breaking boardings for the November 3 parade celebrating the Houston Astros. Listen (19:20)

Kelly reported that there were 270,000 boardings for bus and park and ride services, and 125,000 rail boardings.
