Surveillance video posted at www.sugarlandtx.gov/robbery174825

Sugar Land, Texas – Sugar Land police are looking for a vehicle seen on surveillance video during a robbery in the 300 block of Lakefront Court on Oct. 26.

A man told police he had just arrived home from Wells Fargo Bank, 3601 Highway 6, with jewelry from a safety deposit box. He parked in his garage at about 12:40 p.m. and was walking toward his back door when a man jumped a small fence, pushed him to the ground and took his bag of jewelry.

The man’s attacker then ran to a small pickup truck occupied by a second suspect, and the two drove away.

The man who took the jewelry was described as black, heavy set and about 6 feet 5 inches tall. He had short hair and was wearing a thin grey jacket and jeans. His accomplice waiting in the truck was described as a black man.

Detectives reviewed surveillance cameras maintained by the Sugar Creek subdivision and located images of the suspect vehicle.

Anyone with information should call the Sugar Land Police Department at (281) 275-2540 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at (281) 342-TIPS (8477).
