H-GAC Board of Directors

The Houston-Galveston Area Council Board of Directors today voted unanimously to approve the Audit Committee’s recommendation to retain the firm of Whitley Penn to conduct the annual audit of H-GAC's financial records for the fiscal year ending 2017.

Whitley Penn has worked with H-GAC since 2014. Item Summary

The board voted unanimously to enter into contract with Economic Development Administration for planning and coordination activities for an amount not to exceed $262,500.

The board voted unanimously to contract with the Texas Department of Transportation for Selective Traffic Enforcement Program.

The board voted unanimously to recognize outgoing members Pat McLaughlan and Terry Sain.

McLaughlan touted the board as how a government should run while Sain announced his intentions to run for higher office in Austin. Both additionally expressed gratitude for serving on the board.

All other items were approved unanimously. Agenda
