Nassau Bay City Council on Monday voted unanimously to reappoint Roscoe Lee, William Larsen and Arlene Phillips to the Planning Commission.

The city council voted unanimously to table action regarding an amendment to the city's Code of Ordinances to replace language concerning accessory building regulations dealing with air conditioning or similar accessory structures.

The city council voted unanimously to approve, on final reading, an amendment to the city's Zoning Ordinance adding residential property development regulations to Article 14.

The city council voted unanimously to approve, on final reading, an ordinance granting a zoning change to re-zone property at 18295 Upper Bay Road from and Urban District to a Public Ownership District.

The city council voted unanimously to approve a joint election agreement with the Clear Creek Independent School District to share the city's polling place at City Hall for the May 5, 2018 election.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. Council Member Bryce Klug was absent. Agenda

During the meeting, the city recognized Reyes “JR” Cruz for 40 years of service to the city. Cruz works in the city's Public Works Department.
