Kemah City Council on Wednesday voted unanimously to adopt a resolution expressing the city's consent to petitions for Galveston County Water Control and Improvement District No. 12 to annex property within the city into the water district.

The petitions are for specific lots to be annexed into the district. The motion included removing the dates of the petitions from the resolution.

The city council voted unanimously to approve an expenditure of funds for the purchase of two replacement vehicles for the Kemah Police Department.

No other action items were on the agenda. Council members Kyle Burks and Matt Wiggins were absent. Agenda
