The Texas City City Commission on Wednesday voted unanimously to reappoint Commissioner Dee Ann Haney as primary representative and Commissioner Phil Roberts as alternate to the Houston-Galveston Area Council.

The city commission voted to retain Lloyd Gosselink, et al to pursue collection of disputed cable franchise fees.

The city had previously performed an audit of Comcast payments, which indicated a $156,000 deficiency in payments. Texas City is joining a 14-city group in pursuing the unpaid franchise payments from the cable company.

The city commission voted to award a contract to Cherry Crushed Concrete, Inc. for the purchase of recycled crushed concrete.

The city commission voted to extend an agreement for professional services with Public Consulting Group, Inc. related to supplemental Medicare and Medicaid Services.

All items were approved. All votes were unanimous with all members present. Agenda
