Smelly bank robber hits Texan Bank

The Texan Bank located at 105 E. Parkwood was robbed on December 21 at 4:58 p.m. A man entered the bank and wanted to cash a check.  Instead, he handed the teller a demand letter that led the teller to believe that he had a gun.

The suspect is described as a white male, 40-60 years of age (weathered), 5’8” tall, with a scruffy grey beard.  He walked with a limp and was wearing a white ball cap with blue stitching on the front, a faded red and white button down striped shirt and either blue jeans or khaki pants.  He had an ear bud hanging from his left ear. He smelled of cigarettes, stale beer and body odor.

The suspect vehicle is possibly an old blue “beat up” Toyota passenger car, possibly a Camry.

If anyone recognizes this bank robbery suspect, call Friendswood Police at 281-996-3300.
