Seabrook City Council on Tuesday voted unanimously to approve, on first reading, a resolution authorizing funding by the Seabrook Economic Development Corporation for the “Highway 146 Project” in an amount not to exceed $1 million.

The project includes improvements made necessary due to the expansion of State Highway 146.

The city council voted unanimously to approve changes to the master fee schedule to update sanitation and garbage collection rates. Master Fee Schedule

The city council voted unanimously to adopt a proclamation policy for the city.

The city council took no action regarding an engagement agreement for retention of special counsel Robert Brown of Brown & Hofmeister, LLP, regarding issues related to the memorandum of understanding between the city and the Port of Houston.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. Council Member Robert Llorente was absent. Agenda
