Jamaica Beach City Council on Monday voted unanimously to call an election for May 5 to elect three positions on the city council.

Council members Sherwood Green, Gene Montgomery and Marci Kurtz all have terms expiring in May. The positions are elected at-large.

The city council voted to award a $64,056 contract to Gulf Marine for the bulkhead at the marina.

The city council voted to approve an ordinance establishing standards for network nodes and node support poles in the public rights-of-way in the city.

All items were approved. All votes were unanimous with Council Member Rosemary Lindley absent. Agenda
