Normal METRO Operations Resume Thursday Morning

busses

METRO customers can plan to take their normal bus routes Thursday morning.  All local bus routes will operate as well as METRO Park & Ride. Riders should expect some detours and delays in the event ice remains on some roads. Commuters can also plan to use HOV/ HOT lanes as they will also reopen.  All three METRORail lines will continue operations.

METROLift customers can book trips as normal online through MACS-WEB or by calling 713-225-6716. As temperatures remain low, METROLift continues to assist the City of Houston helping move people to warming centers.  Tuesday evening METROLift helped transport 270 people.

METRO's RideStores will reopen and follow normal business hours tomorrow.

Riders are encouraged to monitor METRO's Twitter and Facebook pages for timely information regarding transit. METRO also offers real-time information through its service alerts system.

To plan your next trip from your smart phone, download the Ride METRO App and access the METRO TRIP App.
