Lone Star College extends spring registration

HOUSTON – Due to the recent Winter Weather Advisory issued this week across Southeast Texas, Lone Star College has extended registration for spring classes and schedule change accommodations through Saturday, Jan. 20.

“We know many of our students were impacted by the weather and we want to ensure they are still able to register for classes,” said Stephen C. Head, Ph.D., LSC chancellor.

Refunds for spring classes are also extended through Saturday, Jan. 20.

Spring semester classes were set to begin on Tuesday (Jan. 16) but due to the inclement weather and dangerous traveling conditions, LSC closed on both Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 16 and Jan. 17.
