Clear Creek ISD Board of Trustees

The Clear Creek Independent School District Board of Trustees on Monday voted unanimously to order an election on May 5 to elect three positions on the board.

Positions with terms expiring in May are District 4, currently held by Page Rander, District 5, currently held by Jay Cunningham, and At-Large Position A, which is held by Charles Pond.

The board voted unanimously to approve a joint election agreement with the City of Nassau Bay for the May 5 election.

The board postponed action regarding the hiring of the Director of Safe Schools.

The board voted unanimously to accept the FY2017 Financial Statement Audit.

The board voted unanimously to award a $252,300 contract to AAR Incorporated for the League City Elementary School Demolition Package.

The demolition is part of the rebuilding of League City Elementary.

The board voted unanimously to nominate Trustee Page Rander for Region 4, Position C on the Texas Association School Boards Board of Directors.

The board voted unanimously to rename the Clear Creek High School Spring Sports Building to the Ruben C. Jordan Spring Sports Facility.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present. Agenda
