Suspect Charged, Wanted in Shooting at 12261 Fondren

Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in a shooting incident at 12261 Fondren about 7:10 p.m. on Monday (January 29).  

The suspect, Jarcquez Devonne Williams, 25, is charged with three counts of aggravated assault of a family member in the 184th State District Court.  

A photo of suspect Williams, who is not in custody, is not available for release at this time.  

HPD Major Assaults Unit Officers L. Kauffman and A. Williams reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a discharge of firearms call at the above address and found a bullet hole in the window of an apartment and blood on the front door.  

Further investigation and witness statements determined the resident's boyfriend had fired a pistol through the window at the residents of the apartment.  No one was struck by the gunfire.
