Brazoria County Commissioners Court, in a special meeting today, voted unanimously to authorize filing an appeal to the Federal Emergency Management Agency regarding the denial of damage claims related to county roads for past flood events.

The motion also authorized the district attorney, the county's engineering department, and purchasing to expend necessary costs in the preparation and filing of the appeal, as discussed in closed session.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to authorize the district attorney to file a lawsuit against William Perry, Samantha Thomas, Barbara Thomas and other responsible parties for injunctive relief for nuisance and the Brazoria County Revised Animal Control Ordinance Order No. 31, as discussed in closed session.
