Kemah City Council on Wednesday voted unanimously to authorize Durotech to begin construction on the City Hall Renovation/Expansion and Foster Park Improvements Projects.

The city council voted 3-0, with Matt Wiggins recusing himself from voting, to approve the second reading of an ordinance amending the city's Traffic and Vehicles regulations.

The city council voted unanimously to nominate the same candidate as Clear Creek Independent School District selects for filling a vacancy on the Galveston Central Appraisal District Board of Directors.

The city council voted unanimously to not provide Hotel Occupancy Tax funds for the Keels & Wheels Concours d'Elegance event.

The city council voted unanimously to reschedule the council's March 21 meeting to March 22 due to the Galveston County Mayor and Council Association joint meeting with the Harris County Mayor and Council Association.

The city council voted unanimously to authorize the Kemah Community Development Corporation to conduct a developer familiarization tour and retail study project.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. Council Member Wanda Zimmer was not present. Agenda
