Beaumont City Council today voted unanimously to adopt a resolution acknowledging that Beaumont has more than twice the state average of units per capita supported by tax credits or private activity bonds and authorize the developer of the project known as St. Helena Square apartments located at 2020 Cottonwood to apply for Housing Tax Credits through the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.

The city council voted unanimously to approve the purchase of two waste water pumps from Weisinger, Inc. for use at the Wall and Avenue C Lift Station.

The cost of the pumps totals $60,858.

The city council took no action regarding a lease agreement with Some Other Place. The item was pulled from the agenda.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present. Agenda
