Brazoria County Commissioners Court on Tuesday voted unanimously to approve a $123,900 agreement with Freese and Nichols, Inc. to facilitate updates and revisions to the Brazoria County Subdivision Regulations.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to adopt a proclamation declaring the week of March18-24 as BACH Week. Proclamation

The commissioners court voted unanimously to reject offers for tax foreclosed property, including:

  • $5,000 for property at 914 West 11th Street in Freeport
  • $150 for .2152 acres at South Gulf Boulevard in Freeport
  • $150 for .2152 acres at South Gulf Boulevard in Freeport

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve the purchase of a 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe for the replacement of a 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe for the Brazoria County Constable Precinct 2 office.

The vehicle will be purchased from Reliable Chevrolet in the amount of $32,003, with an additional $2,000 in vehicle maintenance for installation of equipment.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to reject proposals for air conditioning units at the jail and administration building for the Sheriff's Department and to approve a contracting using U.S. Communities Cooperative.

The commissioners court took no action resulting from any items discussed in closed session.
