Tuesday, February 20, 2018

Missouri City City Council on Monday voted unanimously to adopt the Mustang Bayou service area wastewater master plan.

The master plan provides a roadmap for future development in the service area with the goal of utilizing existing capacities and regionalization of wastewater treatment facilities.

The city council voted unanimously to approve, on final reading, to amend the rules and regulations of Planned Development District No. 11 to allow for the location of an adult day care center.

The district is located at the north and east intersection of Lake Olympia Parkway and State Highway 6. The item was approved with an amendment to include an exhibit regarding an outdoor recreation area for the day care center.

The city council voted unanimously to approve, on first reading, an amendment to Planned Development District No. 36 regarding building regulations-architectural standards.

The district is located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Bees Passage and Sienna Parkway.

The applicant has requested the removal of the requirement that all roofs be fully pitched hip-and-gable style.

The city council took no action, but held a public hearing regarding the impact of industrially zoned areas in the northern sector of the city on adjacent residential development.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present. Agenda
