Friendswood offering Skywarn training

Skywarn trains volunteers to watch the skies during severe weather and relay reports back to the National Weather Service.  The two-hour class is Tuesday, March 20 at 6:30 p.m. at the Friendswood Library.

Skywarn spotter training is free to anyone with an interest in severe weather and in providing these critical reports that contribute to public safety. No registration is necessary. If you would like to receive a certificate of completion, please email ssimmons@friendswood.com to pre-register.
