Harris County Commissioners Court today voted unanimously to reappoint Colonel John D. Kennedy to the Port of Houston Authority Board of Commissioners for a term ending February 1, 2020.

The court voted unanimously to terminate a concession agreement, as amended, with CB Bear Creek Golf, LLC, in connection with Bear Creek Golf World in the Addicks Reservoir.

The court voted unanimously to approve an agreement with Hilltop Securities, Inc., for financial advisor services, arbitrage calculations, and swap consultant services for the county and Flood Control District for the fiscal year ending February 28, 2019.

The court voted unanimously to execute an interlocal agreement with Texas Southern University for use of graduate student interns to monitor for compliance of service standards as required by the Federal Transit Administration for the RIDES Demand Response Program.

The court voted unanimously to approve a memorandum of understanding with the Harris County Department of Education for the HCDE to provide instruction in adult education services at the Parker Williams Branch Library.

Rodney Ellis cast the lone opposing vote to an item authorizing legal action and litigation expenses in connection with O’Donnell v. Harris County, et al.
