Brazoria County Commissioners Court on Tuesday voted unanimously to approve crossing improvement agreements with Union Pacific Railroad Company for the improvement of at-grade crossings associated with the County Road 288 Project at county roads 199, 219 and 706.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to adopt a proclamation declaring March 3 as Brazoria County Mission 22 Day. Mission 22 is a group of friends, families and Veterans that have been affected by Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in some way. Proclamation

The commissioners court voted unanimously to adopt a proclamation recognizing March 2 as Texas Independence Day. Proclamation

The commissioners court voted unanimously to reappoint Melody Hanson to the Brazoria County Library Board.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to appoint Cathy Richard to the Brazoria County Library Board.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to accept a donation of $2,430 from Phillips 66 to assist the Precinct 4 Constable's Office in purchasing a radar system.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to solicit proposals for disaster and/or storm recovery services.

The item was approved as written with the addition of Commissioner David Linder to the review committee. Also appointed to the review committee were County Judge Matt Sebesta, Steve Rosa and Glenn LaMont with emergency management, a designee from the engineering department, Bryan Frazier with the parks department, Dennis Cleveland in facilities management and a designee from the purchasing department to serve as a non-voting member.

The commissioners court met in executive session to consult with the county's attorney regarding potential litigation. No action was taken on any of the items discussed in executive session.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present. Agenda
