Friendswood City Council on Monday voted unanimously to appoint Glen Mintz and Mike Czarowitz as regular members and Jason Byers and Michael Fernandez as alternate members on the Zoning Board of Adjustment and Appeals.

The city council voted unanimously to authorize the Galveston County Mosquito Control District to conduct aerial spraying over Friendswood.

The city council voted unanimously to approve, on final reading, an ordinance providing for the addition of credit card processing convenience fees.

The city council took no action regarding the first reading of an ordinance authorizing a special use permit for approximately 3.3 acres of property at 2245 and 2275 Thomas Trace to allow Nursing Care Facilities, Skilled Nurse Facilities, Continuing Care Retirement Communities, Assisted Living Facilities for the Elderly, without on-site nursing.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present. Agenda
