Deputies Quick Response Capture Suspected Home Invaders

On Wednesday, March 07, 2018, at 6:40 this morning, HCSO District 4 patrol units were dispatched to a call for service where a witness reported 3 males possibly breaking into a neighbor’s residence in 12400 block of Calico Falls Lane in far west Harris County.

Responding deputies located a suspicious male sitting in a vehicle near the residence.

The male was detained and upon a search of his vehicle a pistol and burglary tools were located.

As other deputies were arriving on scene they observed 3 males running away from the residence.

One subject was immediately captured by deputies.

Patrol deputies requested air support and Texas Department of Public Safety DPS 102 helicopter assisted in searching for the other two subjects.

A Harris County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit also responded to the area.

After an extensive search, the two other male subjects were found and taken into custody.

Deputies also recovered handguns and an AR-15 rifle, zip ties, duct tape and clothing items in the area that were abandoned by the subjects.

HCSO Robbery investigators have taken over the investigation and charges are pending on all four males.
