The city commission voted to re-elect Roberts as mayor pro tem.

The city commission voted to accept the donation of a bus from Galveston County Senior Citizens Activities, Inc. The bus will hold 36 passengers plus two wheelchair stations, and will provide day trips for the elderly through the city's senior citizens program.
