Two-Lane Closure of Missouri City Drive Set On Thursday, May 24; Friday, May 25 for Construction
News Release
Thursday, May 24, 2018

Due to the construction at the Fort Bend County Missouri City Library Campus, on Thursday, May 24 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Friday, May 25, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., both lanes of traffic will be closed on Missouri City Drive in front of City Hall, 1522 Texas Pkwy., and the Library.

Flaggers will be on either end of the road closure to direct traffic around the back of the City Hall complex. City buildings will still be accessible during this time.

The Missouri City Library renovation and expansion project, which is managed by Fort Bend County, will include a 9,600-square-foot, three-story addition to the existing library. The additional space will be used for a computer lab, study rooms, and meeting spaces.

The Missouri City Library closed for renovations on July 31, 2017, and will remain closed until fall 2018. Learn more about the County's Library expansion project: http://bit.ly/2s26LGk
