Santa Fe City Council, in a special meeting Tuesday, voted unanimously to authorize staff to submit an application to the Office of the Governor for Victims of Crime Act grant funds for victim assistance.

The city council voted unanimously to authorize staff to submit an application to the U.S. Department of Justice for Antiterrorism and Emergency Assistance Program grant funds for victim support services.

The city council voted unanimously to establish and create the Santa Fe Strong Resiliency Center Crime Victim Assistance Department and authorizing the city manager to hire a program director.
