Fort Bend County Commissioners Court today voted unanimously to award a $6,349,143 contract to Allgood Construction Co., Inc. for the construction of improvements to Gaston Road from Katy Flewellen Road to Greenbusch Road.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to award a $2,461,370 contract to Allgood Construction for the construction of crossover improvements from FM 1463 to Katy Flewellen Road (Spring Green Boulevard).

The commissioners court voted 3-0-1, with Grady Prestage abstaining, to approve payment of an invoice totaling $1,029 to Doucet & Associates for professional engineering services regarding the Braxton Street mobility project. Prestage abstained due to working for Doucet.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to deny a request by Jun Wang on behalf of JTD Land, LLC to waive penalty and interest totaling $1,321 on property taxes for Tax Year 2017.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to deny a request by Rajesh Danayak to waive penalty and interest totaling $265.23 on property taxes for Tax Year 2017.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to deny a request by Kathryn Williams to waive penalty and interest totaling $803.41 on property taxes for Tax Year 2017.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to reject all bids and re-advertise for construction of waterlines in the City of Kendleton.

The commissioners court took no action regarding a request to purchase one vehicle for the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office. The item was pulled from the agenda.

The commissioners court took no action regarding a request to transfer $44,000 from forfeited assets, federal contingency, into capital acquisitions to allocate funds for the purchase of a vehicle for the sheriff's office. The item was pulled.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. Councy Judge Robert Hebert was absent. Commissioner Grady Prestage presided over the meeting. Agenda
