This Week on Stage

Performances and concerts this week on stage in the Gulf Coast area include “All Shook Up” in Houston and “Macbeth” in Nassau Bay.

Miller Outdoor Theatre in Houston will host Theatre Under the Stars for their production of “All Shook Up” beginning Tuesday at 8:15 p.m.

The show runs through Sunday, with performances nightly at 8:15 p.m.

Clear Creek Community Theatre in Nassau Bay will kick off its production of “Macbeth” on Friday at 8 p.m.

Additional performances are on Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The show runs through July 22.

College of the Mainland Community Theatre in Texas City will open “Cry-Baby: The Musical” on Thursday at 8 p.m.

Additional performances are on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Performances continue through July 29.

Bay Area Harbour Playhouse in Dickinson opens “Young Frankentsein” on Friday at 8 p.m. Additional performances are on Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The show runs through August 5.

Main Street Theater in Houston kicks off “Buyer & Cellar” this week, with preview performances on Thursday and Friday at 7:30 p.m. The official opening night is Saturday at 7:30 p.m., and an additional performance is on Sunday at 3 p.m. The show runs through August 12.

Island ETC, East-End Theatre Company in Galveston continues with “9 to 5: The Musical” on this week.

Performances are Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The show runs through August 4.

The Alley Theater in Houston continues its production of “Holmes and Watson” this week.

Performances are Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. The show runs through July 22.

Upcoming performances include Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap”, opening August 10 at the Alley Theatre in Houston, and “Dixie’s Tupperware Party”, on July 21 at The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston.
