Waste Connections continues Harvey debris pickup
News Release
Thursday, July 12, 2018

Free Hurricane Harvey debris collection by the City of Friendswood trash collection vendor, Waste Connections has ended. For those who are still in the recovery or remodeling phase, Waste Connections will collect Harvey debris from Friendswood homes for $30 per cubic yard.

Their grapple truck can take couches, furniture, sinks, sheetrock, wood, paneling, flooring, brush, and empty paint cans.

They will not pick up hazardous waste, tires, bricks, cement, items with Freon or full cans of paint.

Please have your debris piled as close to the curb as possible and at least five feet away from mailboxes, vehicles, fencing, or hydrants. Material should not be under any wires, such as power lines. Bagsters (dumpster bags) will not be collected since they are designed for a different type of collection truck.

For more details or to schedule a pickup, please call the Waste Connections-Friendswood hotline at 832-645-7112.
