Jamaica Beach City Council
by Garrett Bryce
Tuesday, August 07, 2018

Jamaica Beach City Council on Monday voted unanimously to repeal a request for proposals for disaster recovery assistance following a natural or man-made disaster, and authorizing city staff to advertise for bids for the recreated requests for proposals.

The repeal and re-advertisement was approved due to the need to meet state and FEMA requirements for the contract.

The city council voted unanimously to authorize city staff to advertise for bids for the monitoring of debris removal.

No other action items were on the agenda. The city council held discussion regarding several items as part of a workshop prior to the action items. All members were present. Agenda
