City staff to make presentation on 2019 Bond Election and Sales Tax Referendum

League City residents are invited to a Town Hall meeting on Thursday, February 7 from 6-8 p.m. at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center to learn more about the three propositions voters will consider in an upcoming special election on May 4, 2019. The three propositions include:

  • Proposition A   $73 Million General Obligation Bond for Flood Protection and Drainage Projects
  • Proposition B   $72 Million General Obligation Bond for Streets, Roadways, and Mobility Projects
  • Proposition C   ¼ Cent Sales Tax Referendum

The February 7 town hall meeting is the first in a series of informational sessions to educate the public on the projects included in the two bond propositions and how the revenue generated from a ¼ cent sales tax increase, if approved by voters, would be dedicated to fund roadway, traffic mobility, and drainage improvements within League City.
